History and Information
The mech, called the Ganesha-M4MSA8 is named after the Hindu deity, Ganesha. The suit was originally created as a heavy lifting machine, but eventually it was fitted with heavy guns. The mech suit is rather expensive and is only given to the worthy who are devout and skilled. In order to receive this suit, the soldier had to pass an initiation which proves their skill and more importantly, their faith. The initiation usually consisted of deadly tests. For example some may be fighting with 30 wolves, or maybe diving off a bridge into a shallow river. Being a Ganesha Pilot is a very high spot and are usually given to the best of the best, or to soldiers who have lost a limb in battle, but they must still pass the initiation.
Eventually after the initiation was finished, the pilot would eventually be tattooed with a Sak Yant (lit. Holy Tattoo) on their backs, officially giving them the right to pilot these suits.
The Ganesha usually had a single pilot in the center of the suit, called the cockpit, and spots for others in a passenger area , but usually the cockpit was sealed. The pilot usually sat in the cockpit naked, only wearing a Krama either around their necks or on the top of their heads.
The Ganesha has three 25 MM Chain-fed automatic machine guns, completed with two 120 MM Semi-Automatic heat-seeking round cannons. The Ganesha holds a large metallic backpack making it so that the Ganesha has almost instantaneous reload.
