A background on the special forces/covert operations of Kaleth.
Not much is known about the Ghosts, except that you usually won't even know you're looking at one. Though they can operate officially, the Recon Marines are mostly used. But for more...clandestine operations, a Ghost is the perfect man or woman for the job. The selection process is very strict, with most operatives being picked out of Recon Marines who excel at their job. Most Ghosts are sent into their mission with no objects or clothing that could associate them with Kaleth. They are used in many ways to move things into Kaleth's favor, through assassinations, civil disorder (By helping out anti-government movements), intelligence gathering, training guerillas/partisans, counter-intelligence, and sabotage.
